Strategic America names Executive Creative Director

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (June 5, 2024) – Following a national search, West Des Moines-based marketing firm Strategic America (SA) has chosen a seasoned leader with Iowa roots as its new Creative leader.

Chris Bettin is SA’s new Executive Creative Director effective June 4, with responsibilities for leading and inspiring creative initiatives for SA clients. In his new role, Bettin will further elevate SA’s strong creative foundation by leading creative strategy development and execution, building strong relationships and conducting brand workshops.

Before joining SA, Bettin managed his own North Carolina-based consulting business, The Faultline Collective, where he partnered with agencies to provide creative services and worked directly with brand managers seeking strategic and creative assessments and recommendations. He also spent many years working for agencies in Dallas, Texas — including Publicis, The Richards Group, Moroch Partners and TM Advertising.

A Lake View, Iowa, native and Iowa State University alumnus, Bettin has decades of agency experience as a creative director and copywriter. Throughout his career he has worked on brands including American Airlines, The Home Depot, Community Coffee, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Travel Channel, Berkely Fishing and more.
